Job description :
– Identify mineral deposits by surface or subsurface mapping or remote sensing
remote sensing;

– Conduct field studies on mineralized showings;

Job description :
– Responsible for recruitment (job posting, selection, interview, evaluation)

Employee needed : Core Shack Technicians

Job description :
– Work in parallel with the geologist(s) as well as other members of the core library;
– Respect the rules of health and safety at work;
– Respect the work instructions and ensure the cleanliness of the premises;
– Check the inscriptions on the core boxes (drill hole number, box number, drilling interval, etc.);
– Open and place the core boxes on the logging tables correctly to avoid breakage or loss of pieces;
– Performing various tasks: Recording the metering of the end of each drill box, labeling core boxes with an aluminum tag, measuring, aligning core boxes, recording the number of fractures per meter, performing various calculations, etc;
– (In some projects) The technician will measure the RQD. The RQD (Rock Quality Designation) is a measure of the quality index of the rock. These measurements will be used during the Preliminary Economic Study, during the Pre-Feasibility Study and during the Feasibility Study;
– (In some projects) The technician will take the MPP measurements at 50 cm along the core. MPP measurements consist of electromagnetic conductivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements, as well as XRF in some projects;

Employee needed : Drill core sawyer

Job description :
– Check the diamond saw and its safety accessories;
– Turn on the diamond saw;
– Check the water jet;
– Place the drill cores on the carriage with the rod in the same orientation;
– Move the carriage towards the saw;
– Remove the samples, put half of them in a bag and put the other half back in the box, making sure that the samples are in the right direction and well aligned;
– Place the box on a pallet, rolling table or cart;
– Identify the sample bags;
– List cut samples;
– Photograph samples if necessary;
– Place sample bags in pockets;
– Pack and identify pallets for transport and place in a secure location prior to shipment to the laboratory;
– Maintain diamond saw: clean, check for blockages, tighten bolts, grease parts and clean up debris;
– Detect problems and inform the person in charge;
– Ensure the cleanliness of the premises;
– Know and apply the standards related to the UL ECOLOGO certification;

Job description :
– Work in parallel with the procedures, pre-established instructions or geologists;
– Respect the rules of health and safety at work;
– Respect the work directives and ensure the cleanliness of the premises;
– Carry out environmental inspections at all times on the work site, either during drilling, stripping, deforestation etc… and keep a log;
– Align the drills with the various instruments required;
– Performing and keeping records of health and safety inspections at the drilling site;
– Exploration geochemistry – soil sampling – river sediments;
– Field prospecting;
– Search for new mineralized zones;
– Stripping and sampling in various forms;
– Control the G.P.S. positioning;
– Know and apply the standards related to the UL ECOLOGO certification;
