Field technician

Description:

• Work according to predefined procedures or under geologist supervision;
• Comply with workplace health and safety regulations;
• Follow work instructions and ensure workplace cleanliness;
• Conduct environmental inspections on-site during drilling, stripping, clearing, etc., and maintain a register;
• Align drills using required instruments;
• Perform health and safety inspections at drilling sites and maintain a register;
• Conduct exploration geochemistry – soil sampling – stream sediment sampling;
• Conduct field prospecting;
• Search for new mineralized zones;
• Perform various forms of stripping and sampling;
• Properly control GPS positioning;
• Be familiar with and apply standards related to UL ECOLOGO® certification.

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of experience;
• Good teamwork skills;
• Open-mindedness, courtesy, a strong sense of responsibility;
• Resourcefulness and autonomy;
• Varied schedules.
